Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Pride Vermont Parade and Festival in Burlington! The theme this year is “Ruby: 40 Years of Fabulous!” Grab your Kinky Boots and your ruby-red slippers because we’re ready to march!
Temple Sinai is marching again in this year’s Pride Parade! We will also have a table at the festival at the end of the parade. Please join us in representing Temple Sinai! We need to line up not later than 11:30 am.
*NEW* Pride Parade Route
Since 1983, LGBTQ+ Vermonters have been marching the streets of Burlington to expand LGBTQ+ visibility, highlight the continued fight for equal rights and treatment, and celebrate the love that we have for each other and our community overall. Connected to our theme of ‘Metamorphosis’ this year’s festivities feature a new parade route and festival venue, as well. Our parade will start in the same location it always has — the Hood Plant . The parade will begin at the bottom of Church St. and proceed up the lower part of Church St. until it reaches the intersection of Church and Main St. From there, it will turn left onto Main St. and continue until it reaches Lake St. The majority of the parade will take place on Main St. The decision to shift the route to Main St. and Lake St. was to make it more accessible to all who wish to join.
Please reach out to Membership for more information and we hope to see you there!
