In this session we will dig into songs centered on the concept of closeness and presence. We are a people who have been exiled over and over, and are beings who yearn for closeness and unification with the Divine. Dveykus, or yearning, is a long standing tradition in Judaism, which offers us a path towards closeness through the experience of yearning. In this session we will explore these concepts through song and learn some of Batya's original songs.
