What has been taken from us this year? Tisha B’av is the collective Jewish day of mourning for the tragedies of our history, particularly the destruction of the First and Second Temples. With lights lower, sitting on the floor or on chairs, we will read sections of the Book of Lamentations, and share our own laments for the losses of this past year.
