Sisterhood presents…
A Wehrmacht Officer
Who has spoken with you about life as a child of a Wehrmacht Officer? When would you have the opportunity to ask about such an experience?
Georgia Von Schlieffen, daughter of a Wehrmacht Officer and a German Citizen, learned of her father’s affiliation as a teenager. She has graciously offered to share her story of awakening and healing with us. She will be speaking from Germany on Zoom.
Georgia von Schlieffen was born in 1968 in the former West Germany. She has a MA in Comparative Religious Studies and an MA in International Relations and is a Visual Artist (painting). Georgia worked for several NGO’s including the German Red Cross, The Overseas Development Group and Amnesty International, with a keen interest in social issues such as refugee advice work, disability awareness and prison work. She’s been involved with different international peace organizations such as Zen Peacemakers, Servas International and the Experiment in International Living. She is the mother of a son - an adopted adult refugee from Syria.
