Please join us for an Evening of Poetry with readings by three outstanding published poets.

After their readings and some Q&A, we will move to the Social Hall for Snacks and Schmoozing with the poets and each other.

The poets' books will be available for purchase.

Terry Hauptman

Terry is the author of previous poetry collections. She has a Master’s degree in Poetry from the University of New Mexico, Alburquerque, and a Ph.D. in interdisciplinary Arts from Ohio University, Athens. She reads her poetry rhapsodically and exhibits her luminous Songline Scrolls nationally. She has taught World Art, Poetry, and Ethno-poetics, as well as classes in Genocide at several universities and workshops. She lives in Vermont with Robert and Kira Lily.

Kali Lightfoot

Kali has worked as a teacher, a wilderness ranger in Washington state, an executive at Road Scholar, and has retired from her position as founding Executive Director of the National Resource Center for Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes. Her work has appeared in Lavender Review, Poetry South, and Split Rock Review. She lives in Salem, Massachusetts. Her first book Pelted by Flowers was chosen as Must Read for 2022 by the Massachusetts Book Awards.

Laura Budofsky Wisniewski

Laura is the author of Sanctuary Vermont (2022, Orison Books) and How to Prepare Bear (2019, Redbird Chapbooks). Her work has appeared in Poetry International, Narrative Magazine, The Missouri Review, The Chicago Quarterly Review, Image, and other journals. Laura was a finalist in the 2022 Narrative Poetry Prize, runner up in the 2021 Missouri Review Miller Audio Prize and winner of the 2020 Janet B. McCabe Poetry Prize, the 2019 Poetry International Prize, and the 2014 Passager Poetry Prize. Laura, who is 71, lives quietly in a small town in Vermont.
