This week, instead of our usual service, we are having a community Shabbat dinner where we will light candles, share blessings, and get to know one another better over dinner.
Rabbi Edleson will teach the table songs which are often accompanied by table drumming and are a central part of Shabbat celebrations around the world. This Shabbat we will eat, schmooze, and sing together.
Temple Sinai will supply the main dish. We will have chicken, a vegetarian gluten-free option, and roasted potatoes.
Please bring a salad or veggies to share.
You must RSVP by Monday, May 29th to ensure we have enough food.
We will do a short 15-minute service in the sanctuary at 6:30 PM for people who need to say Kaddish. This part of the service is available for Zoom.
(Dinner provided by the Membership Committee)
Here are some songs we will be learning:
Cracow Nigun, Shalom Alechem, Ki Eshmera Shabbat, Tzur Mishelo, Shir Hama’alot, D’ror Yikra
