Temple Sinai Sisterhood invites all Temple Sinai members to attend a lunch and informative presentation on two items that Vermont voters will be asked to decide upon in this November election.
Amy Roth, Temple member active on the Social Action Committee, and Dr. Felicia Kornbluh, professor of History and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies at UVM, will talk about two amendments to the Vermont constitution that will be on the November ballot:
Prop 2, which would eliminate language about slavery still in the Vermont constitution, and
Amendment 22, dealing with reproductive rights.
We will meet outside. Please bring a chair, coat, and (optional) your own lunch. If we need to be inside, please also bring a mask.
