Homelessness continues to be a challenge in the Burlington area. Temple Sinai will be participating in the 2023 COTS Walk and Fundraiser to raise money for the Committee on Temporary Shelter, Vermont’s largest service provider to the homeless. You do not need to walk to contribute!
Last year we had a large team walking, and we raised almost $3,000 due to your generosity, the second-highest amount among faith organizations. Let’s beat that amount in 2023. Please consider making a donation at the following link. The process is fast, easy and secure. If you prefer, you can send your contribution to the temple. Make checks payable to COTS.
Whatever you can give will help – it all adds up! The temple community greatly appreciates your support.
If you are not participating in the temple work day on Sunday, May 7, you can join the COTS Walk itself.
COTS, the Committee on Temporary Shelter, is Vermont's largest provider of services for Vermonters who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or marginally housed. The focus at COTS is on finding solutions to END homelessness — not simply creating shelters for people who are experiencing homelessness.
Please help support COTS in this important project by contributing generously. Thanks to the Walk sponsors, EVERY DOLLAR raised through the COTS Walk supports shelter and services for families and individuals in crisis.
