‘One frustrating thing about my current role is that I ended up feeling a need to say what others aren't saying publicly, and since I have had to speak in sound bites, I haven't been able to talk about the complexity and nuance of my thinking and my feelings on the current conflict. I have had to reduce and simplify tremendously, and that means I haven't been able to share with you the more nuanced, conflicting, and unresolved thoughts about what happened, is happening, and likely will happen.’
