COVID-19 Update
Operational guidelines:
People should make decisions and take precautions as they feel necessary for their health.
All people entering the building must wear masks unless health conditions warrant an exception.
Due to state guidelines that limit the number of unvaccinated people by square footage, people who are not vaccinated are asked not to attend any meetings of committees or groups held in a classroom, the library, or staff offices. We will make them available to attend by ZOOM.
Onegs
For our in person services on Fridays, so that everyone can feel safe and comfortable, we would like to continue to have individually bagged food for the Hamotzi and the Oneg. Ideas include:
Buy 2 or 3 challahs and have the bakery slice them. Either the bakery or the hosts responsible for the Oneg can package a slice or two into small bags.
Prepackaged cookies/treats (example: Milano cookies from Costco).
The Temple has wine for the Kiddush – hosts can bring wine or other drinks.
Group Meetings
Groups and Committees that meet at the Temple can begin to meet after being in touch with Stacie. Unvaccinated people are asked not to attend any groups that meet in a classroom or office due to state guidelines on space.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you Arrive:
If you are ill or have any symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to Temple.
When you Arrive:
Enter only through the main doorway.
Please sign Contact Tracing Book when you enter.
Do not crowd into the main lobby so that people might pass by without getting close.Always keep your face mask over your nose and mouth, and remain socially distanced.
Ushers will be present to assist you and help make sure the space is open. Please let them know if there is a problem and follow their requests if asked to distance or put on a mask.
There is hand sanitizer in the entryway and in the classrooms.
Be aware that others might not yet be comfortable getting too near, hugging, or shaking hands. Ask, first, before you do, and please let people know if you are not.
After the Service:
Remember to avoid crowding in the hallways so that people might stay socially distant when leaving.
