Shabbat

Shabbat Services

Our congregation offers several forms of Shabbat worship, in recognition of the varied histories, demographics and preferences of our members.

We hold traditional worship services, led by our Rabbi and accompanied by piano and our Cantorial Soloist, three Friday nights per month at 7:30 pm (from September-May), and on Saturday mornings at 10:00 am whenever there is a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Children Services / Folk Services

The first Friday evening of every month we hold our popular Folk Service, with guitar and other instrumental music, lots of singing, and modern, accessible melodies. These services are held at 5:30 pm during the months of September-May.

One Friday a month, during the school year, we hold a “Family Tot Shabbat” at 5:30 pm. This is a short children’s service followed by a Shabbat dinner, for our youngest members and their families.

Note: During June, July & August  ALL Friday night services start at 6pm
