The Chaverim Team is working hard in the time of COVID-19. We recently delivered 30 Passover Care packages to members of our community so they had matzoh and kosher wine for seder. Thank you to Rabbi and Stacie Gabert for all of their help in this effort.
The Chaverim and Social Action committees have been active on several fronts to help people in need during the COVID-19 shutdown.
Shalom Horim/Dear Parents,
By now you should have received communications from all the teachers about their ‘classes’ tomorrow and the various meeting times and ways to ZOOM in.
We have reached the final letter of the Alef-Bet that we haven’t covered, the letter VAV, which is our letter of the week.
Please share these words with your child. Our Value of the Month is still Tzedek/Righteousness. Now would be a great time while you’re all spending a lot of time together, on brainstorming ways your family can help those less fortunate.
Please read the Weekly Newsletter and Temple Calendar to see all the great online opportunities Temple is still vibrant and alive, from music videos, to classes, services, Tot Shabbats, etc. We may not physically be together, but let’s keep connected virtually during this trying time.
If you have concerns, suggestions, ideas, and other things to share, by all means, let us know.
The Temple will be closed to the public until further notice. Our goal is to keep everyone safe and healthy. I will be working from home so please don’t hesitate to call or reach out with any questions, concerns, or just to say hello as all calls are forwarded to my cellphone. We will keep the website up to date with information as things are always changing.
This is an adjustment for everyone and we may have a few bumps in the road (virtually), but this can only make our community stronger.
Stacie Gabert, Administrator
