Friday

TOT SHABBAT – 5:30 PM
Join us for this special service, which is geared for our little ones. They will have fun, play, and learn about our traditions and make new friends. All are welcome!
KABBALAT SHABBAT SERVICE – 6:30 pm
Join us for this service to start the Sabbath. The service is filled with music, prayer, and reflection on this week’s Torah portion. The service this week will be in honor of Ariel Toohey, who is becoming bat mitzvah on this Saturday morning. Following the service, join us for Kiddush and an Oneg in the Weisbein Social Hall.
This week, we will also celebrate our October Birthdays, so please join us, especially if you celebrate a birthday this month!
Saturday
SHABBAT MORNING SERVICE (Shacharit) – 10:00 am
All are invited to join us this Saturday as we celebrate Ariel Toohey, daughter of Ann Mindell and Sean Toohey, becoming bat mitzvah. This service will be a full Torah service, with the reading for Sukkot. Everyone is invited to a Kiddush luncheon following the service.
Since we will be reading Torah during the Bat Mitzvah service, there will not be a separate Torah study session this week. We resume next week with Genesis and Joshua. You can always find a link to the weekly Parashat in the footer of every page on our website.
Sunday – SIMCHAT TORAH CELEBRATION

COME CELEBRATE AND DANCE WITH THE TORAH!
Pot Luck Dinner – 5:30 pm
Service (with Ruach HaMaqom) 6:30 pm
Simchat Torah is not just for kids, but is a great festive celebration for adults, too! We will read the end of Deuteronomy and immediately begin Genesis, and we will together see the Torah unfurled so you can see where highlights (and maybe your bar/bat mitzvah portion!) are in the scroll. Then we will dance with our Torahs to live and recorded music. Services will include the consecration of our Hebrew school students.
Become a Temple Sinai Ambassador!
The Membership Committee is initiating a Membership Ambassador Program. The goal of the program is to connect each new member with a current member who will welcome the new member, check in with them periodically to answer questions, and invite them to services and/or special events to ensure that new members are feeling connected with Temple.
If you would like to be an Ambassador or would like more information about the program please contact Stacie Gabert.
Chaverim has you covered!
Need a ride to or from services and/or Temple events? Please contact our Chaverim Committee, and they will help arrange a ride for you from someone in your area that is coming to that service or event.
Coming to a service or event at Temple Sinai and willing to provide a ride? Please let the Chaverim Committee know that you are willing to give rides to people in your area.
